Commentary
I took this position as my first step towards programming as a career. I was the primary data analyst for the marketing group responsible for analytics of the call center, business development group, and paid & organic marketing teams. Eventually, due to significant responsibilities and technical overlap, I served as part of the Salesforce platform team since it was the primary CDP and attribution platform. I introduced custom analytics using R and Shiny for more customized and interactive dashboards across groups. I was the technical IC on our evaluation of CRM Analytics (formerly Einstein Analytics) to integrate analytics more natively into Salesforce. We eventually moved towards PowerBI for unified company-wide analytics. During my time at ARS, I worked on diverse projects including data integration, chatbots, and marketing attribution strategies. I left to pursue an opportunity at a fintech startup closer to my interests in finance and technology.
