Runbook for Airflow Privacy Policy

Effective September 21, 2026

Runbook is designed to connect directly to Apache Airflow installations controlled by its users. The developer does not operate a relay service and does not collect, sell, track, or monetize personal information or Airflow instance data.

Credentials and connections

Airflow usernames and passwords are stored only in the iOS Keychain. Short-lived API tokens remain in app memory and are not persisted. Requests travel directly over HTTPS from the device to the Airflow URL entered by the user. The operator of that Airflow service may process requests under its own policies.

Local data

Saved instance names, URLs, appearance preferences, and cached status summaries are stored locally on the device. The included widget receives a limited status summary through an Apple App Group. Credentials are never written to the App Group.

Demo, analytics, and tracking

The demo workspace is synthetic and makes no network requests. Runbook contains no advertising, analytics, tracking, or third-party telemetry SDKs.

Control and deletion

Users can remove demo content and saved configuration in the app. Removing the app deletes its locally stored application data; iOS controls Keychain lifecycle according to platform behavior.
